Anyone have BF Bassman faceplate hole spacing data

Post by M Fowler »

By the way the K60 PT and OT bolt holes fit the BF Bassman reproduction chassis from Mojo perfect, nice :)

Drill the choke mounting holes and will be set.

Before I start mesauring I was wondering if any one had the faceplate hole spacing data to get a BNP custom one made or I may just ask Mojo to make one if no one has the hole data. I'm using stock tone stack and controls of the K60 fit to the existing bassman holes.

Thanks, Mark

Mojo will send you the faceplate drawing if you ask. Well they have with me anyways.
I remember them saying they only send certain formats though.

Chris,

If I work with them sending a pdf of my layout they could compare that to theirs (Mojo) and I could come up with a custom faceplate. I wonder at what cost?

Thanks for the information.

Mark, I have a repro Bassman faceplate which I had on a 67 Bassman, it fitted perfectly. (Modified the chassis to a Bluesmaster HRM and had a custom faceplate made). I'll measure it and send that to you if you like.

I did this before with a PR faceplate. They sent me the faceplate PDF and I modified it to my liking. They were actually really accommodating of me. I think the faceplate cost around $35 (I can check if you want). The faceplate is a thick plastic not metal.

Thanks guys I can measure the holes and make a diagrahm to send in. No problem I will measure it up and note my changes. :)

I just was thinking that someone may have a pdf or corel draw of the Fender BF Bassman which I need to make inorder to have BNP make a faceplate.
