Bluesmaster Layout

Post by talbany »

Hey All

My next project in the coming weeks will be to do a Bluesmaster layout w/Precision power supply..As we all know there are very few of these and the info I have is scattered over several sources.. If anyone here has detailed info in pics or a schematic on a particular BM they have been in or seen and wish to donate this info as an accurate representation of the next layout I am sure many here along with myself will very much appreciate this.. If you wish this amps # or yourself to be kept confidential it will be done..

Thanks and please give if you can..

It's funny.
I've been chipping away at my 100w build over the last several months and my wife really doesn't notice much when it comes to my gear.
This morning I had the chassis in my lap and I was tightening some screws.

She poked her head into the room to tell me something and she asked, what's that?
I said, oh it's an old amp I'm trying something different on....

Now in my defense, I did spend yesterday and today re-painting the master bathroom walls and cabinets.
I probably wouldn't have but a few weeks ago she spilled some hair dye on the door and wall so......

Good legal disclaimer Tony, HRM way cool don’t have that amp might be a good one to try the EL-34s in.
I hope it will turn out as good as this one in the photo.
Steve. :D

Hi Tony,

Dogears has made a lot of post about BM tweaking and lately he helped BOB-I tuning a BM. It would be great if he has some additional info to chip in.

Just recently built a BM using the mdroberts schematics...sounds fantastic. Any idea how close/accurate his schematic is and could it help this project in any way? As always, great work Tony. Thanks.
