Re: D-clone boards available
I got my order in already thanks brother.
Which layout are you using because I have not seen a layout that exactly matches these boards or am I blind?

Re: D-clone boards available
I used a number of photos from later amps and scaled them to get the approximate spacing. I also had the layouts from the set of boards Brandon used to sell. I made a few revisions to the main board based on the later amp pictures as well as the component spacing to ensure it will work with all generations of ODS amps. The FET is similar to the later amps, but is my layout.M Fowler wrote: Which layout are you using because I have not seen a layout that exactly matches these boards or am I blind?

Nice!
Now we need Brian and Mark to do another run of the CE chassis.

Re: D-clone boards available
Agreed... I'm pretty sure another run is in the works or will be shortly. I'd also like to see them offer the same chassis with a silver powder coat/black silkscreen finish for 70s style builds. Maybe if there is enough interest they would do a small run along with the standard black chassis.ChrisM wrote:Nice!

I asked Brian about that before to, he said he didn't think so.jborders5 wrote:Agreed... I'm pretty sure another run is in the works or will be shortly. I think we need more people bugging them about silver chassis.
Re: D-clone boards available
I asked Brian about the silver chassis about two weeks ago and I got the impression that it possibly will happen in the future. There is another run of the blk chassis in the works as well.jborders5 wrote:Agreed... I'm pretty sure another run is in the works or will be shortly. Re: D-clone boards available
Nice job on the board set!
I think we're warming to the idea of a silver version, especially if we can keep the scope of changes reasonable... there's been a lot of good threads recently on the 70's tone. Reasonable would be minor changes to holes and screens... keeping the same overall chassis dimensions, etc. (so this wouldn't be a very 'authentic' 70's chassis, but cosmetically similar). Please express interest (and perhaps suggest the 'essential' requirements) by PM to Brian (odourboy) or myself.
We are in the process of scheduling another run of the 80's style chassis at the fabricator... we need to get a confirmed slot from him.jborders5 wrote:Agreed... JB,
Are you going to be offering FET pcb's for use with a relay still? Thanks for all your hard work so far!

There wasn't enough interest for a large enough order to keep the cost down. I could do a small run of the FET with relay, but the cost would go up.
I'm cool with the exact 80s chassis & screen, but in silver/black. I'm looking to build a hybrid 70s with a few later features, so a period correct version is not a priority.mdroberts1243 wrote:

I'm cool with the silver/black screen as well. However, I think slide switches instead of toggles would look very cool and wouldn't look so much like Brandon's.

Re: D-clone boards available
I would like the old style silver chassis with slide switches.
