just pointing out if you buy one or two no big deal shipping would wash it it's part of a larger order, but why spend $3 for a $1.50 cap. exp in bulk. If you want cheap and brand doesn't matter parts depots have 25mdf@25/50v for $0.05 each. Still even if he does charge to package the items it pays to be a smart shopper. The $ you save you can put toward better tubes

I can't get a chassis or cut to specific size board from Mouser, Digikey, Alllied etc., that's why I buy as much as I can from Ken. I patronize a vendor based on the total value added, not just on price.

The Walmart shopper mentality is one of the main reasons why the little guys are ceasing to exist in every cottage industry.

I shop at WallyWorld and support the small guy when I can. I buy from Ken sometimes, as well as AES.

Known Ken quite a while now, hes always been great to deal with. Sometimes no matter who or what you can have things pop up that is out of your control, and may cause delays. A car wreck, or major sudden illness, might put you away from contact,or responding with e-mails.It happens. Never had any problems dealing with Ken.

Got an email today from Ken that says:

Your confirmation was at the landing page after you ordered. We will get this out shortly.

I don't know what that means, but I hope he sends it today......

My only experience with Watts:
Ordered a MM tranny and a chassis on the same order. Ken had to get the tranny from MM and was going to ship it to me with the chassis (which was in stock at order time) when it came in. OK by me. The tranny came in but now he is out of the chassis so I had to wait for that too. I did eventually take delivery, but I was ticked that the chassis got sold out from under me while waiting on the tranny. I could see a justification on his part for doing that, (maybe he thought he would be resupplied with chassis by the time the tranny came in). He wasn't, and I had to wait. I would buy from him again though. He seems honest, although a bit un-organized. Like Ritchie said, things happen with small business owners that maybe don't affect larger businesses. I cut them some slack when possible.

I think Ken makes his turret boards to order. At least I know the one I ordered was and it was a standard one he lists on his page. That might slow him down a little. Always been a pleasure to deal with though.

From the sounds of it, my order was misplaced.
Took him a week to find it?
From all the comments, he sounds disorganized.
That can be the downfall of people with the best product in the world.
They can also be the nicest people in the world as well.
But if you can't get the product when you want it, then most will go elsewhere.
I have already taken delivery of three other orders that I placed after the one to Watts Audio.

I know stuff happens but....

Unfortunately, he has the blank G10 FR4 boards I need to start.......
Not too impressed so far.
What would impress me is if he ate his mistake and sent it priority so that I got it Wednesday. :D

For instance, Doug Hoffman's prices aren't the lowest but I get my order from the East coast to the west coast in two days. Flat rate shipping.
I will always do more business with Doug.

It may arrive this week! :) Now that's slow.

I like Ken's products so I will continue with him as well as the many other places I shop its a pita trying make sure all the orders are in and remembering which vendor has what. :)

Yeah, I used the buy it now on my Lopo, took over two weeks to get it.
Their excuse was that they ran out of stock.
Well, I'm positive they didn't build it until they got my money for it.

I like Watts' blank chassis', so I'll keep ordering from him when I'm not in a hurry.

G10? Mcmaster-Carr, my man. I just ordered a 2-1/2" strip of G10 and a sheet of the red swirly fiberglass board at a decent price. I swear my order got there from Chicago to Detroit in less than 24 hours. I've never had an order from them take more than 36 hours. THAT'S service!

I've used McMaster Carr in the past and was also pleased with the experience.
I like to support the little guy if I can but they have to hold their end of the deal up as well.
