Why run the bias so low, get some heat going and let that amp sing.

if I change 51K tail res to low value I take about -46/-50V and the current going up 44mA and over.
37mA with 450plate voltage for me seems good , maybe 2/3mA more.

yeah you are only running about 30 watts at that bias but these amps do like a colder bias than others.

I'm running winged =C= tubes and to me they sound better biased fairly hot. I usually run them around 70%. The amp had TAD 6L6WGC tubes and I like them better with a lower bias. Not trying to be argumentative, just an opinion.

Once you set your bias range let the amp idle then play the guitar and listen to where you think it sounds the best.

See where the meter is at and I bet your in the specified bias range plus it sounds good to your ears.

I'm running SVETLANA WINGED "C" also , but I found different current absorption in vary stock I have.
