How long (how many cuts in alu) does a Forstner bit last drilling noval 7/8" holes?

Thx--
Get a good aluminum tapping solution. Tap Magic is the one I remember. McMaster/Carr I'm sure has it or an equal. This will greatly increase the life of the bits. As to how long is anybody's guess. Oh, and be sure to drill a (very tight) pilot hole. The forstner drill tips are for alignment in wood, not cutting aluminum.

Last chassis I used the unibit.

It makes a gorgeous clean hole with a wicked sharp edge on it.

Takes forever.
