Yes that is very close, everything is there. A few less components in some places and some value changes but other than that.

If your interested I can edit the schem and send back?

ChrisM,

If you want you can delete your email out of your post. I have it written down & will email you the ExpressSCH schematic so you can edit and post it back on the forum.

My novice eyes like this design a lot. Would it be a big deal to hang the input of the ef86 on the input of the 12ax7 v1a?...and they would share the same input...and the seperate volumes would make them "mixable"?

I think the parallel/cascade is wired wrong. The upper section of the switch that controls the plate of the second triode should be drawn in the other position, so that when the cathode is connected to it's separate cap/resistor, the plate is connected to it's own plate resistor.

As is the bottom two switch sections show cascade mode while the upper section is in parallel mode.

THANKS for the catch.

Here is the corrected schematic. Continue to look for errors and also note that the B+ rail may NOT be what Chris M is using with his amp.

PSU is like this...
After recto there is 32mF filtering then either 1K5 resistor or choke, after this 32mF filtering.

After that it's just like a Matchless PS. Five 22K resistors all coming off the same node (so all in "parallel") going to their respective nodes. O and 22mF filtering on all five of those nodes.

Also on the cascade triode the cap in parallel to the plate resistor is 2.2nF, 2200pF, 0.0022uF not 2.2uF, my bad.

I also have a MV. It's just a 1M push pull pot wired as a rheostat from one side of the PI output to the other. The switch just disconnects one side, therefore taking the MV out.
