It's fake, the original didn't have an angled edge. or large screw holes.

Re: logo
I have seen many TAG's builders show amps with a TW logo on their personal build. I took mine off since people got all pissy.
To me its no different than building a Fender or Marshall clone and attaching their faceplate or logos to the clone chassis, which is done all the time and know one gives a crap about that.
If your not selling it with a TW logo, then what is the harm.

Nope, it's an original, well, sorta, as used by Kendrick on the "Trainwreck" Climax. It's fake, the original didn't have an angled edge. or large screw holes.

Re: logo
If the amp hasn't been built by KF - or designed, spec'ed, voiced and released by KF for some late '90 versions - it's not a Trainwreck. Why bother with a fake logo ? Use your own, show your colors, be proud of your build. Ditto for Fender, Marshall or any clones
Re: logo
I stand corrected... it's an original reproduction?
If the logo is for personal use I have "zero" issue, but if it's to pass a clone off as a KF build for profit that is bad. I think the reason the logo is such a topic of bitter feelings compared to the fenders or marshall's can be traced directly to the KF family trust and the threats of legal action. You can buy a fender or marshall logo all over the web from authorized service centers and parts suppliers, even directly from the manufacture. KF's estate has taken the do and die stance, The amps are honestly easy to clone and pass fakes all it would take is a logo and the market could be easily be flooded with a few dozen knock offs and no one would know any wiser. Fender and Marshall's have serial #'s chassis stamps to determine originals, Trainwrecks have the logo, and a paper sticker, the rest is just parts.
IF clones flooded the market and the trainwreck lost it's collecting value it would be hard to ask $5 for a new JM rocket when you can buy one off craigslist or ebay for $500. The only diffence is the logo at this point JM is like all of us ... Not Ken so the Mojo is in the Tubes.
