That's sort of general...Ginger has a half-power switch and parts to support that. It's the first Trainwreck, so it's messier than later ones. I think it's all Stancor. I don't believe it represents any sort of 'final' Liverpool schematic. Later power supply boards make more sense. I think the filter cap values are different in normal Liverpools.

weird fuzzies! better not tell an indy band or it'll find it's way on to the next white stripes want to be album and the value of an original will tank to silvertone prices.

the half volume is an interesting idea, I'm assuming this was pre the airbrake?

thoughts on the brown mallory PVC's? where they a quality part for tone or part of the fuzzies?

Here is a pic of my completed Ginger clone complete with 1/2 power switch and adjustable line out. This thing was built about 4 years ago when all we had was some blurry pics of Ginger. I still own this amp and it sounds fantastic to my ears. I sold it once and bought it back and will probably never sell it. I did a benefit show a couple of weeks ago where I provided the sound, both FOH and monitors and also the backline amps except for the Bass rig that was a SVT. We had 13 bands playing during a 12 hour period and the Ginger clone got a lot of use in 90+ degree heat and 80% humidity, with nothing but complements from all who played through it. I also supplied an Express and Rocket as part of the backkline along with one of my 2 channel Liverpool/ Rocket channel switching amps. The biggest complaint I heard was it was just too loud. Last year I did away with the 1/2 power switch and added a VVR which works much better to me. The 1/2 power switch just doesn't really do much to drop the loudness.

Our band of old farts also did a 40 minute set and someone posted a small clip of a piece of a song we did on youtube. I have no idea who recorded it or what they used ( probably an Iphone). The guitar player on the right is using my Ginger clone. The sound sucks but it may give you a bit of what it sounds like. The sound is a little muffled for the first 35 seconds. They must have had their finger over the mike on the camera or something. The sound kicks in about 36 seconds into the video. I am on the drum kit
