Remember my Richter 5E3?
If you guys remember my thread about adding Dana's VVR to it - a great idea BTW. Changed the coupling caps to make take a little out the bass. Well I got a 2x10 cab for ... sent off the unfinished tweed cab head and had the shellac added to both once the speaker cab was built. Got it back today ... what do ya think? Sara Richter even helped the cab maker match the tweed and grill.

So ... the concensus is ... it's winner. LOL
Here it is with my Tele ... it was suggested by someone that it might be hard to estimate how big the amp is ... it's pretty small actually.

Re: Remember my Richter 5E3?
Who is Sara Richter anyway....?
I checked her web-site, but it is "Under Construction".
I think she makes 2 or 3 different amps. I have never heard a bad word regarding her work or service, but that does not really tell me much. Amp building has always been pretty much a mans world. It is strange we do not know more about, as far as I know, the only female who builds amps professionally.
Have you guys ever seen her chassis'? Does she have somebody bend her metal, or do they do it themselves. I guess I just find her a little intriguing. Who is she, was her Father a builder...?
Thanks

Re: Remember my Richter 5E3?
Someone should interview her.
Re: Remember my Richter 5E3?
Her website does not seem functional anymore, I wonder if she is still in business?

I think her website is under construction but the link I just put up is to her forum ... which is also fairly new. She's easy to get to there ... still in business ... I think she sells the amps on ebay. But she can be contacted on the board link that I put up a few posts back.
