Dumble Modded 67 Showman......eBay

Post by ToneMerc »

Might be "unmolested", but not certainly not untouched looking at those Atom caps.

Actually it says "unmolested".

I remember reading about Dumble jumping the channels like that and tried it on my Twin Reverb around maybe 75. I never got it sounded good but it did have a ton of gain.

Unmolested to me means unmoddified, not unmaintained. Maybe the ownen simply replaced the paper/oil cap,

Didn't HAD leave his mark inside the chassis somewhere?
All I see is that decal that is in poor condition.

So aside from the jumper cable what was changed?

Ludicrous!

Dumble still does extensive mods, such as the Ultraphonix. Mods run about $5000. I played a mod a few months ago that was done about two years ago. It was awesome.

I can't imagine anyone being duped into spending 10K for this old mod.....

Scott man you ok these days? You seem kinda gruff about things lately.

Think about it a minute.... Scott you got 5k laying around can YOU get Dumble to mod you an amp?

So I guess if you know Dumble and he truly appreciates you ....then your golden.....but if your not that lucky .....then it costs 10K ....LOL!!

I think this one is suspect. The chassis was made in '65, not '67. Besides the '88 Atom caps, there is a small black Sprague that is not original.

I can see the HAD mods, but if they were done in '69 that solder is way too bright to be 40 years old.
