Practice Express 1w?

I have one more on the bench which is a double 6SN7 on the power section. The rest is set up exactly like a wreck.

I followed your 2W 6SN7 build before (really nice work BTW) and I have the same custom-wound Heyboer OT and a few NOS RCA 6SN7s I have been saving. I'm interested to hear what you think of the 2x6SN7 version of the Express; whether you get more perceived clarity/punch/harmonics/complexity with the added tube.

Thanks for the kind words. Cliff told me that the new transformer would be punchier. We will see.
