EJ prototype Twin Reverb builder...

Post by FuzzFaceBuilder »

Hey all,
I'm looking for the builder of this amp. It's a re-gutted Twin Reverb reissue (obviously) that was the prototype of what was to become the Eric Johnson Signature Twin Reverb.

Do you guys know who's build chops these are?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

The proto was wired by George Alessandro.

Here's a copy of the letter of authentication by Eric Johnson when the amp was sold a while ago.

I got a good laugh and a smile out of this. I looked at the gut shot of the amp for about 30 seconds and thought out loud "George is that you?". I've been inside of a few of George's amps and it sure looked like something of his. I scrolled down and holy crap I was right.

Do you own this amp now? Curious as to you inquiry and your plans with the amp.

none of my business I know but this has piqued my interest and was also curious about (if it's yours) how you acquired it.

Really cool find irrespective and, how the hell did someone uncover the notes from EJ
Does your mother know you talk that way??
