Bonamassa To play at Crossroads Festival and Joe's new Band

Post by guitardude57 »

Just got the info on this...... The Crossroads Festival (Eric's annual fundraiser) is going to be in Chicago area Toyota Park. Seems with all these Sheds changing/selling the naming rights like football stadiums do, not sure which one it is (or originally was). I grew up in the area, and haven't been there much in years. I wish I could go.

Other news on Joe's new band:

Currently, Bonamassa is working on a side project with new all-star band Black Country Communion comprising legendary vocalist and bass guitarist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), powerhouse drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin), and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater). The band's sound is a devastating head-on collision between American and British rock influences—a true supergroup that delivers a titanic rock experience greater than the sum of its supremely talented parts.

Should be a pretty interesting deal. Wonder what the guitar rig will be this time............
Mike

I saw bonamassa this year and the show kicked ass. It was the second time I had seen him and he is just getting better. The new band sounds cool.
