VVR MOSFET Fried?

VVR MOSFET Fried?

Wired it up last night and accidently reversed the diode. Did I kill the MOSFET?

Which diode? Did you power the amp?

That would be the 12v Zener. Yes, I did power up the amp.

Well, solder a known good zener - check polarity this time - and reboot the amp. The mosfet will probably be OK.

OK. Problem solved. I accidently wired the OT center tap to the B+ IN on the VVR. Too many red wires! I feel kinda silly. Everything now works as it should. Thanks again for taking the time.
