twisted choke wires?

Post by iknowjohnny »

I hope this doesn't prove my ignorance any further. (as if thats possible :D) Is it bad to twist choke wires? Being DC i wasn't sure whether it would be good or not, but i did it anyways. now i'm wondering if i should untwist them. It's a long run from the choke to the first can.

Don't worry, twisting choke wires together is good as it helps to neutralize whatever AC is left in the rectified DC. Just don't twist them together with anything else.
