DClone builder in North Florida?

Nothing too exciting, but I was in Ponte Vedra (Jacksonville) Florida over the weekend visiting family. Went out to dinner and there was a little jazz band playing on the patio. One of the guitar players had a nice looking and great sounding clone built in one of those 70's chassis that said "Lavel" in stead of "Level", complete with a little Dumbleator on top of the amp. The guitar player was a super nice guy named Duane I think, he said the amp was built by someone locally named Mark (?), anyone here by any chance? Duane wasn't too technical, so he couldn't really tell me much about the amp itself, but he could sure play it. Wasn't the kind of place where he could use the OD, at least not that early in the evening according to him, so I never got to hear it

Sure he didn't say "Mike". Mike Marsh has been making D-clones using the Ceriatone chassis, into which he puts American iron....and he is in Florida too.

Ya, it was tubedogsmith - he sent me a PM but didn't post a reply to the list. I really wish I could have heard him crank it up a bit, the guy could play.

It was my amp. It's one of the Natchansis chassis' modified for a mid '80's style high plate, skyline 50 watt amp. It's got some '70's bassman iron in it and it really sounds nice.

If my family didn't think I was nuts already, they sure do now - we walk in to the place and the first thing I see, from a distance, is the amp setup. So of course I had to know about it. They were in the middle of a set so I had to wait a while. They got to know more about dumbles than they ever wanted to know. My dad is a musician (trumpet) so he could at least appreciate the fanaticism
