I know this wasnt directed for me but i bought my JJ803s at thetubestore. So far no problems except that it sounds like garbage compared to the 12ax7 tung sol i had in there (PI slot). Totally killed bloom, and harmonics, but added a slightly bigger bottom.

The tube isnt microphonic but it does hum a bit more than the tungsol which i also got at the tube store (even though the long plates should be quieter :? )

the JJ now resides in my 82 hiwatt,(PI position) and still hasnt failed yet, i just COULD NOT stand it in my ODS
It's true i've lost my marbles and i cant remember where i put them
