Band records EP using TW Clone.

Post by JamesHealey »

Hi guys, My band has just finished in the studio recording a 3 track E.P. which we'll be selling on iTunes and copies etc.

Features my Wreck Clone for all the lead guitar parts, and one track is entirely Wreck both guitarists, some of the nicest clean tones I've ever got on tape from the wreck turned down!

Just awaiting mastering, I'll be putting up clips so u guys can hear the interesting parts with the Wreck used.

Watch this space :)

Solo section from one of the songs on our E.P.

This is not the final mix/master so it's not at full quality yet, although I'm sure u guys well get the idea and appreciate the fact it's not been messed with EQ wise etc.. so ya can hear how the Wreck fits in the track.

Comments please! :)

Great playing but at least on my computer speakers, the solo could stand to come a bit more forward.
The rhythm in the left channel was almost over riding the lead.

Don't let that smoke out!

Yeah the mix needs work and it's still to be mastered. also the pi has dual 100k loads on the anode. also the choke resistor is 2k2.. the amp is now stock config. that recording is also the old school dual primary heyboer.. The pacific ot is on it's way.

Blackstar HT 112 W/ Celestion G12H30 70th Anniversary

Mic'd with a good old SM57.

Nothing majorly special, the 30w speaker + 20w from the 6V6's is cutting it close but the speaker seems happy to take it.
