Just finished this one this afternoon. I actually built the amp over my Christmas break but I never got around to installing one last PCB so I did that today.
It's a pretty standard nothing too crazy .
The one unique thing is the HRM board. The PCB board has two tonestacks on it, a Marshall and a Fender. They are switchable with a relay (also mounted on the board). There are separate trimpots to control Treble, Middle and Bass for each tonestack.
This means when playing I can hit one of the buttons on the 3 button footswitch to change up the tone of the overdrive channel.
You can get that classic HRM OD sound (Marshall) or something a bit different with the Fender tonestack. Should allow the amp to have even more sounds.
So with that PCB in the amp is done.
Can't test though as I am a poor ma fuc k who has school bills to pay. Once I sell a few things I am going to buy output tubes and the speakers needed for a 100W amp so I can test.
The double HRM looks very I've often wondered about some method of having more tones. I'd like a second clean tone as well, maybe 2 tone stacks there too.
I hope the double HRM works out well. I always thought it was a neat idea. It would be interesting like you said to have a bit more variety on the clean channel though.

Yes it would. My gigging setup right now has 2 heads so I can get a really spanking bright clean as well as the Dumble full/rich clean. Wouldn't it be great to get back to one head and no switching devices.
Really a good looking build Chris. Are you going to settle in for the
final "dialing in"? I hope you've got all the cool tone already as the
minutiae looks like a nut crushing good time.
I'm still slowly gathering parts for my Dumblesque 100 watter.

The chassis is from the group buy that went on here back in October I guess it was?
Tom that would certainly be cool to have HRM on the front. I didn't have the space or the desire to add more pots so that's kinda why I went with dual HRM. Should offer up more tones without being so obtrusive on the chassis.
As for speakers I'm going with Eminence, Tonker Lite and Swamp Thang, a combo which a few member here quite like. I would love a pair of EVM12Ls like you have but cant afford them now, so day I'm sure Ill get some.
Yeah they are spendy.
I had bought one when it was on sale, so then I paired that with a WGS CL80. Not to bad but a bit shrill.
Then another place had the EV on sale for even cheaper so I bought another.
Historically I have always had an aversion to spending a lot on speakers.
Which is kind of dumb since it is a big part of the tone.
I was going to buy the 12-65's but after a lot of research I decided the EV would suit me better. I'm glad I am not gigging out because that 2 x 12 weighs a ton!
I had a pair of Tonker Lites and while the weight savings was substantial, the tone wasn't there for the ODS type amp.
Those have more of a British flavor of tone, more high end, thought you may want to know that before you bought any.

Don't get confused here now Chris. Both Brandon and I use the Tonker and Swamp Thang combo. The Tonker lite is not the same speaker. I'd love to save the weight and get the lite Tonker, but reports are that it just doesn't sound the same for these amps.

Yea I do. My main gigging rig consists of an old Peavey 2x12 combo converted to Dumble HRM, a Bassman head converted to a Trainwreck Rocket preamp with 2xEL34 power amp, a head switcher so both run into the Tonker/Swamp Thang. The combination has everything.
