Awesume. I'm speechless. I guess you could call his house "tone central".
Re: Amazing Trainwreck collection posted on TGP
Charlie's been a collector for years, and doesn't post here.
His vintage Les Paul collection is something to behold too, and worth significantly more than the Wrecks!

Sounds like you are truly privileged to know him.

Paulster did you stick your head inside the cabinets to see what transformers these babies used?
Re: Amazing Trainwreck collection posted on TGP
I like the way he uses those Voxes...as mere tables to prop up the "real" amps!!!...just kidding

Alas I haven't. I only know Charlie through the Les Paul Forum, which was where I first learned about Trainwrecks some years ago. They've been discussed quite a lot over there, especially Genevieve, the specially voiced high-gain(!) Liverpool.
I do remember from our conversations about Liverpools (since there wasn't a lot of concrete information here at the time) that Valvo EL84s were particularly recommended for the Liverpool.
There is someone here who has been inside at least several of these though, servicing them. And, no, it isn't Allyn.

As a side note, it was interesting to see that Joshua Syna owns a specially voiced Express.
Since he posts here, perhaps he could tell us some more about it.

That's exactly what I was thinking. My next build will definitely be a Rocket although my internship in Dallas means that I won't get to do that build until next semester

Is that the same fellow who had Warren Haynes over to his house last year? IIRC that joker had a few Trainwrecks in his living room. Casual.
