Brand New Trainwrecks?

Bruno UG 30
The original UG 30 bruno had a vox style input channel, no tone controls(except the presence control for both channels). The second channel had reverb, and was more of a fender type schematic. I used to tell ken I thought the first channel was the "poor man's Rocket" as it sounded closer to a Rocket than the second channel. I favored the first channel myself. The UG 45 ( also called Bulldog 45) was an Express circuit, correct voltages etc, but different trannies and had an Express type sound, but not a close clone. Had a bigger, broader bottom than an Express but less upper harmonic stuff. Ken did tell people about those amps..
Ken's Rocket
i THOUGHT Ken's Rocket was named Betty Lou, not Reality Check"????

I wish I had said that.paulster wrote:Marshall makes reissues too. If you want a great new plexi you go to Metropoulos though.
The Snake Oil meter blew up when I saw the 5 laws bit..
Does your mother know you talk that way??
Re: Brand New Trainwrecks?
Reality Check was a nickname for his Rocket........he used it as reference a standard for tone. I remember hearing a couple of great sounding amp...then he would play his Rocket.....Reality Check! The Rocket was a tone machine.
Re: new Wrecks
that was me. actually, i asked for it in 8 months..2tone wrote:A guy on TGP ordered one said it would be 8 months to get!!
and JM is building rockets right now. we spoke for an hour or more on the phone. super nice guy.
Re: Brand New Trainwrecks?
No songwriter 30. No trem-rocket. I just can't see paying that amount for a circuit that I could get here on the forums by very talented builders for less than half of the $$$ that the new TWs are going for.
Re: Brand New Trainwrecks?
Wreckboy now that Trainwreck is back building amps and Dr Z is looking doing the Zwreck you should come out with your Trainwreck DLM.
