There will be so many things you’ll be dissatisfied with after your first build. Once you hit your stride (3rd or 4th build or so) you’ll standardize your build technique and the build quality will be much better.
Imo its not worth it to drop 1.5K on something that may or may not turn out "ok".

Buy a kit from Triode Stores  $359 for JCM800 2204 50w and $459? for JCM800 2203 100w.  You provide your own chassis and build.

I have a good idea and its is a favorite amp of mine the Ken Watt's version of the Matchless Spitfire on turretboards.com kit section he has the layout on the site.
The amp has cleans and when cranked has a great power tube section distortion and I have gigged with that 18w amp with no problems being heard in a four piece group running through a Epiphone 112 cabinet.
Nice amp to build and I think the kit is $450. It uses Heyboer 18w Marshall type standup tannies and GZ34 rectifier all good plus in my book.
