FYI: 20uF 600v Weber cap looks just fine inside.

Tonight I took apart a Weber 20uF 600V cap , #EC206-600.

Nicely sealed, full of electrolyte saturated rolled up wadding.

Your basic axial, aluminum electrolytic cap.

At least I now know the 600v variety looks OK on the inside.

Weber did say yesterday they believe it's only the ELON brand caps that are affected and not their own brand ones based on the caps they've torn apart.
