I bought 2 hammond trannys a few weeks ago they were made in canada. When did they make the switch?

I think that they just moved the high volume, lower cost stuff over to China to keep costs down. AFAIK the "audiophile" grade components and bigger, nicer units and enclosures are still made in Canadia.

I just put it in my #124 build as a source for 12V regulated DC heater supply for the 12AX7s. With taxes and shipping it ended up costing me CAD$28.50. It better work OK>
