Has anyone ever tried to find a digital replica of our favorite amps?
Here's as close as I've gotten:

Did it in Logic Express - Vox AC30 model (British Bright Gain or something) with mid and bass full up, treble on about 6, pre gain cranked, master on 9, presence just over 6. Then an EQ with a bit of mid scoop, then AU Matrix Reverb at about 30% mix.
It's actually surprisingly fun to play, and nice and responsive.

Great stuff Ben! I'll be pinching a few licks...k??? I'd love to jam sometime...
Re: Digital Dumble Tone?
Congratulations, Very nice blues/jazz chops and the tone is pretty close to the real deal. I'd try rolling off the top end a bit, IMO.
What's nice about your setup Ben is that it's repeatable. Although as much as I don't care for SS amps, I do like their tonal reliability. Whether it's a good or bad tone, it's repeatable and isn't as tempermental as our tube amps. Sort of a SS amp love/hate thing

Line 6 includes a Dumble in the latest microcode for the PodXT. I tried it, sorry, it doesn't cut it.
Re: Digital Dumble Tone?
I agree Bob, it's not even close, but never expected much from the Line 6. At the Wal-Mart of guitar stores, Guitar Center, it's so easy to try out any amp. Plus all the great players seem to show up on the weekends,
