There have been a few brushes with this topic in some recent posts, and rather than hijack, I thought I would start a fresh thread.
Gary mentioned about not trying to model the dumble style stack in the Duncan calculator. https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.php?t=10274.
And JaySG mentioned that it doesn't accurately depict function due to series vs parallel mids.
Lets discuss the real world functional differences in operation and tone between a series mid cap style fender tonestack, and the parallel Dumble style mid cap tonestack.
