So are you switching between the amps in each clip?

I liked the Bludo non HRM the most I think. Big tone with enough high end. Great!. I wish I could afford one.

Short answer - yes, the BN is the darker one.

If you turn up the sound A LOT you'll hear him tell you which amp is next.
Wife: How many amps do you need?
Me: Just one more...

Yes, I kind of heard him calling out the amps but when I turned it up to hear that, the guitar about blew me out of my chair.

First off, all videos need to be turned up loud as I recorded too low..sorry.

The first one is the Bludo.

thanks, I supposed but wasn't sure

I like more the BN cause of its darkness, I find that interesting beeing an HRM, do you like it that way? have you tried to open up a little the treble on the HRM trimmer?

llemtt,

The Brown Note is special, my friend Thaddeus Hoggarth owns the amp and was specially made for him. Check him out at www.thaddeushogarth.com

You can hear the Brown Note in action on many of his songs....you can't miss it. I am hoping in the near future a new album and nothing but Bludo, Two Rock and Dumbles for amplification. Check out the "when the sun goes down" CD....one of my favorites.

I have serviced his amp but changed nothing as he likes it exactly as you hear it. It is a great amp.

ok now I understand, it's way different than usual HRM clones and it reminds me the em.pro of tag fame...

great sounds from Hoggarth CDs but "when the sun goes down" it's from 1998, I don't think this amp was around then

cheers

Teo,

Correct in 1998 the amp was not around, I was referring to the music. I believe in 1998 he was employing a Groove Tubes Combo, but I will verify.
