RG-59 plenum comes in white with a 20 gauge solid center conductor. You can find it from lots of sources.

I get it from ApexJr.com. It Teflon so you can't melt it as well.

The stuff apex has isn't the right stuff, the capacitance is too low and the conductor is too small, I have a 500ft roll of that stuff you can have for the cost of shipping. The right stuff has a larger gauge, I have some if you want, I get a buck a foot.

Crap, I just recently re-wired my entire amp using the 18ga Teflon shielded cable from Apex.

But I don't feel my amp is overly bright.

Solid core (suggested by some folks I think), or stranded? Most (or all) of the pics of the real thing show stranded center conductor for the coax right? Maybe or maybe not a big issue.

Re: White Coax source??
Stranded in the ones I've been in (coax anyway) hookup wire was either Solid style 1090(300v pvc) or Yellow /green Stranded Teflon
