thanks, I really enjoy making the boards for my build but it would be cool for the guys who don't

Easy way to do multiple quotes is right click on the "Quote" icon and select "open in new window". Then go to the next one and do that again. Now you can cut and paste between the 2 windows.

Beautiful work - why buy new when you can build it (hopefully for less).
thanks henry coming from you that really means a lot ,as for building it for less ,sure parts wise it's less but if you factored in the amount of time no way,but when I do buy an amp yours is high on the list .but the feeling when you flip the swicth an nothing blows up PRICELESS

Is that Teflon wiring?

I notice you didn't include the 220K/250pf network on the Send/ Return jacks?

Have you tried that and not liked it?

I'm getting ready to build a Dumbleator and was concerned about that.
thanks tom

yes all teflon wire I love that stuff ,takes a lot of preasure off a shakey pirate like me

never tried the 220/250pf network ,what exactly does it do ? make the amp darker? maybe I try it and see for myself

Etching boards can be fun!. I have a RAT tube tester that I layed out, need to get it transferred and etched this week. Nothing like the smell of hot ferric chloride in the morning.
thanks glasman, again I'm humbled

yeah that burning feeling in your eyes is great

So you used 10uf bypass on all four cathodes?

How is the bottom end as far as, too much, too loose or just right? :D

As far as the 220K/ 250pf thing on the FX jacks, I believe it is to preserve the high end sparkle when used with the Dumbleator?

Do you have one of these and do you use it?

On one build of mine I have a switch that selects different mid caps. I call this my single-coil/humbucker switch. Works quite well. I still like the amp with humbuckers better, but it is okay with a Strat. The "humbucker" setting with a Strat is too thin.

I did that in my D lite it to be able to select a .01 or a .05 it usually stays on the .01

its a beauty

Beautiful build, I bet its a tone machine. On that Dlite switch for the caps, any chance we could see a gut shot of that, I have been edging towards that idea ( with some background help - wink wink )

Ange,
I will probably put one on my amp as well.

You can either put both caps there and switch between them or wire the switch so it shorts across one of them.

Or put it on a push pull mid pot, but I already have my mid boost on that so a separate toggle will have to do in my case.

I plan on mounting my switch on the top of the chassis above the spot so the wire run will be short.

Here is a schematic, I believe Henry drew this.
If I'm wrong about it then my apologies.
