Plate and screen V 6550 KT88
My main experience with 6550 / KT88 has been in SE amps. I am now planning a PP build. I know what the data sheets say but what has been you guys experience with plate and screen voltages to really make these tubes sing? More clean headroom than breakup. What voltages are practical? Thanks

Re: Plate and screen V 6550 KT88
The last build I did with the intention of using 6550, KT88 or KT90 I ended
up using a generic Twin PT/PS. I tried a high plate volt set up, 600 plate 300 screen,
loud but the natural distortion when pushed was not pleasing.
