The Recording stuff is SIMPLE, I use a Mac, and a pre-sonus Firebox.. The software is the demp version of cubase that came with the firebox.

the mic is a sennheizer E906 and I use about 20 ft of Monster 100 mic cable.

Thank you Brandon for bringing such joy into my life with these amps.

The Classic is spectacular -- beyond anything I could have ever imagined or hoped for.

Even Lola loves my Bludos!

LVC,

I have to ask, what on earth is on your Christmas list, seeing as you already have so much nice stuff!!!!!

BTW, is that a TC G-Major 2 in your rack? How does it shape up? I've had my eye on one recently, so would be interested in your opinion.

Cheers,

Paul.

Santa came early so nothing new is on the list.

I like the G2 very much. I use it for more than just verb/delay. I use all of the effects on it (trem/wah etc) and I like them.

some folks think it is a complete tone suck (I don't) and they run it with a suhr MiniMix. I plan on getting a suhr minimix at some point down the line and experiment running a midi switchable parallel/series configuration. The MiniMix allows you to mix the analog signal with the digital signal of the G2. theoretically I should be able to switch from Parallel (for just straight verb/delay) to series (for mod and filter effects through patch and cc commands).

For my purposes and ears .... it works and sounds great in series with the dumblelator.

I don't have a problem with getting my tone sucked now and then

A viable alternative to the minimix is an Xotic effects X-blender.

I just acquired one and it is allowing me to go to a one amp setup. I almost never ran time based effects in the Dumleator loop but, out to a powered satellite. In my experience, even the best devices messed with my tone. These devices allow the dry signal to pass through unaltered while mixing in the effects devices. Cool big knob allows foot control on your pedal board.

Cool sounding amp by the way. Congratulations! :!:

Wow that does look like a good idea.

I'll have to see if I can check one out somewhere.

Nice setup indeed, you are very fortunate.
I have to be satisfied with a home made amp that sounds like a million bucks!

Seriously, Bludo has really covered the D tones well.

I was watching exactly that video few hours ago :)

Although definitely sounding like EJ it's also clearly similar to the original Cream sound than to the RF (dumble?) version.

To my ears Eric is playing with his fuzz-face setup here!

cheers
