I'm trying to again get my old Gibson tweed twin going again after about a 5 year hiatus. I measured 35V+ on the chassis this morning. (618 vdc on the first PS node )! I then decided that a 3 prong plug was in order. Now there is 0 volts on the chassis. What might be the culprit for the voltage ? Leaky PScaps ? It's working but doesn't sound like much more than 20 watts coming out and it has an old tested pair of 6550's. Should be pretty punchy, right ?
Also, I cant quite get the compressor to work. If it's working I cant tell.

It's a leaky cap someplace for sure. I'd look at cathode bypass caps. Usually when PS caps fail they do so spectacularly.
