front of wreck box
can anyone tell me how to taper off the front from 3/4" to 1/2". I just need to know what sort of tool or whatever to use. Only thing I can really thing of is to sand it down. Thanks.

Re: front of wreck box
I have a large table saw with a very accurate fence. By adjusting the angle of the blade and running the wood through in an upright position the taper can be cut in one pass. I normally use a scrap piece of wood to make sure the angle is set right before I make the final cut.

This method of cutting gives a very accurate and clean apperance to the taper but is not for someone who has very little woodworking experience.
If you aren't comfortable or don't have the tools find a local cabinet shop and ask if they can help you out.
