erwin_ve wrote:Bob; looks like your conversion hrm has the same color taps on the peavey trannies as I have.

Most of my parts are in now. I'm stripping the amp. I'm gonna do a HRM with built-in dlator.

Can you confirm this is the way you are using your PT wires?:

red-red= +/-370V(power supply)
yellow-yellow= 6,3v(filaments)
purple-purple= 56v (bias)
orange-orange/white-orange(relay power)= 20-0-20v
Are you doing anything with the orange/white center tap or are you just doing a bridge followed by a 7812 voltage regulator?

Thanks for all the pix! I'm inspired :D
I agree makes me want to go and scavenge a peavey.nice work!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. The relay power is using just one leg of the 20-0 , orange and orange/white, into a bridge and the 7812. The other 20-0 leg is unused. On another one I built for a friend, I used a 9V regulator and sent the 9V to the pedal jack. He uses it for pedal power 8)

Good luck with that. I found this one for $5, the next cost me $50 without a cabinet, and the 3rd cost $200. Since then I've been watching ebay and seen them go for as much as $700 :(
