Trafo for D-clone with 6550

What kind of Power Trafo can I use for a pair of 6550?
I usually use trafo fender type 125P5DX /125P7DX for 50w,can be suitable?
any suggestions?

IM using a 100 watt marshall power transformer with my (2)KT88 dumble. In most applications Kt88 tubes are swappable with 6550's but i find KT88's to sound much better IMO.

i dont think 50 watts will be enough because you need more amperage for the filament heaters and the plate voltage might not be high enough

I'd use 100w power iron and maybe a twin OT.
