wjdunham,
Very nice looking amp, a lot like the Boogie cabs. :D

Do you play primarily play single coils?

What mid cap and treble cap did you end up with on your amp.

It definitely has a boogie influence, althought I got the idea from some photos of early Dumble amps shipped to europe which were put in nice hardwood cabinets. It's more like a piece of furniture than an amp, I took it to practice tonight and I had it wrapped up in blankets before putting it in the car :-)

I have a .01 midcap and I implemented a mid boost a-la skyliner stack with a .02 in series with 390pf. I stuck a Warehouse ET-65 in it and it really sounded wonderful tonight with my strat, which is all I've been playing lately. It's got a nice raw bluesy tone that goes from clean to really dirty by just changing how you attack the notes. I was using the FET input all night. The clean channel is really sweet with the volume cranked using the FET input, plenty of warmth and very slight overdrive the way I have it set up.

I started down this route after hearing some clips of one of Brandon's 70's style amps, I have no idea if mine sounds like his or not, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out and grateful for his and all the other help I received.
