I have a lot to learn about designing tube amps.
The VVR voltage limiting trim pot is already part of the layout.
So we will try with 250V or maybe a bit higher. Fortunately, we have roughly 100 pieces of EL95. So if a set craps out we still can reduce voltage.
BTW, below's a nice schem of an old german Sennheiser EL95 hifi amp.
Tubes are run at 315V. This is why I thought we would be on the safe side with 300v. Of course HiFi amps are rarely built to be overdriven
