HELP Identifying Input Jack & Speaker Out..
Hi all & hope all are well~ Kindly look at this project I picked up, and the seller knew absolutely nothing about it,, He thought those 2 wires, circled on lower right, were the speaker connections, one wire going to the jack, & the other one going to a ground post on the chassis... Is what I reasonably assumed to be the input (1/4"), indeed the speaker out? And that other oddball jack, (which will be changed to a 1/4"), has that black lead going to the Volume control, & the green wire is going some pin on the 5879 tube, & the 2 upper lugs are tied together....So, is that jack really the amp's input, & if so, which lead is hot? I'm forever learning, & just trying to figure this one out
~
Thanks all~

Re: HELP Identifying Input Jack & Speaker Out..
The output transformer is on the bottom side of the amp and the secondary side of it that feeds the speakers is on the right side of it next to the fuse holder.
We need a better picture of that side of the chassis to figure things out.

Re: HELP Identifying Input Jack & Speaker Out..
Thanks guys,,, Hopefully, these shots may help solve the mystery,,, That's a 3 conductor 1/4" input/out, with that Green wire going nowhere, & the black going the far left tone lug, which is tied to the middle lug,,,, the Brown wire goes to a post that shares a connection that comes off the 6SL7... Then there's that strange(to me) mess on the other end...

Re: HELP Identifying Input Jack & Speaker Out..
I suspect green is hot and black is common on the input.
The 1/4" is the output. Looks like the 300R resistor is just using the jack as a ground connection?
