I have these little brown silver mica caps salvaged from a junked waveform monitor. Thing is, a lot of the caps have this weird code that I can't seem to find a conversion chart for.

etc...

meh, pretty simple, just look for a three numerical character code: 511, 950, 471, 102 etc. the other markings are manufacturer hoobily joobily/tolerances n such

I just finished finally putting all of my resistors away, which stray ones have been collecting in a dish for a couple years now... (This guy obviously doesn't have the codes fully memorized)

my favorite is 47k, so colorful and fun! yellow purple orange, they jump right out at me

What to do with those colorful components? I've mentioned before & will again now, those Honeywell ads that used to run 1964-78. Found some for ya, and I'll attach another example besides.
