The humdinger fixed it:

I unhooked my 6.3V Xfmr tap for the heaters, and powered up the heaters with a 6V lantern battery to see if it eliminated the hum, which it did. That's how I isolated it down to something with the heaters.

What's with the 47 ohm resistor on one leg of the pilot lamp?

tried >( the same hum does not go away :( any other clue? i measuerd all voltages from the schematics and they ar all the same +- few volts! :(

DId you try the lantern battery or humdinger?

Humdinger and also two 100ohm resistors. i have already had a center tapped heating! lifted it tried these two metods and nothing!
