IM using a 100 watt marshall power transformer with my (2)KT88 dumble. In most applications Kt88 tubes are swappable with 6550's but i find KT88's to sound much better IMO.sergio wrote:What kind of Power Trafo can I use for a pair of 6550?

i dont think 50 watts will be enough because you need more amperage for the filament heaters and the plate voltage might not be high enough
It's true i've lost my marbles and i cant remember where i put them
