Lowell George amp

Post by ampdan »

I just received the Little Feat DVD "Skin it back"(a must for fans of the Feat btw), and I see he's playing through a Dumble rig. Anybody know what/where it is? Just curious.

Love the Feat! Supposedly that amp was an early ODSR. Check out this thread:

Warning! Exposure to Little Feat can cause "fever all day and chills at night".

Speaking of Little Feat - a band I fronted in the 70's & 80's used to cover a lot of their tunes. Sorry, no Dumbles on stage. Here are some YouTubes:

Loved that Lowell George slide tone with that Dumble rig. Brent(slide player) did a good job with his Music Man rig.

Thanks BobW. I loved to play guitar but, they hired me to sing. They already had 2 guitarists and I was always awkward without a guitar on my neck. My brother was the drummer and pitched me for that gig. Good old times - I can still smell the main staple: macaroni and cheese........... :D

I can still smell the main staple from those days as well, but it was NOT macaroni and cheese.

Chicken knobs should be made mandatory on dumble amps!
