Pretty cool. Larry always travels with 2 Dumbles now, one's a spare. Plus he mikes it and sends that signal into an effects processor, routes the wet signal through a small PA on stage.
I had the chance to talk to Georg Wadenius last summer. If you don't know him, he has played with Larry Carlton, Steely Dan, and on numerous albums as a session guitarist..and he was in the Saturday Nigh Live band for a few years.
He was not familiar with Dumble amps, and said that Carlton played different Fender amps when he had played with him.
I was kind of surprised that he didn't know about the Dumbles.
