I'm going to take a break from the amp manufacturing for a while. With the bad economy I'm not really selling any amps this year.

Very professional build! After 50 it should be! I've only built four but each one gets better.

My 50W is a hybrid of #13 and #40 and it sounds wonderful. I put old iron in it ('67 Bassman), but I'm interested by what you say about liking the MM iron and not liking the MC iron. I've used both and I like both, but what specifically about the MC iron don't you like?

To my ears the MM has a warmer rounder tone than the MC.

I am curious about this too... in this comparison were the amps otherwise identical?

Hi from Turkey,
I have a BN blue monkey, for the drive section what should be the value of the trim caps for mid, bass and the treble? i know i am sounding a little ignorant. I need your help but I am not sure if I made myself clear.

Try these settings

OD trimmer - 25K
Bass trimmer - 75K
Mid trimmer - 6K
Treble trimmer - 90K

Hi all, thnx for the info.
But Leleduke says 250K, Tonemerc says
OD trimmer - 25K
Bass trimmer - 75K
Mid trimmer - 6K
Treble trimmer - 90K
what is what?
