I'm Wondering what the icon by each post means...

greyed out means... you've read it and nothing is new
Lit means something is new
What does it mean when it has the wiggles?

the key at the bottom doesn't say what the wiggling icon means

but nothing about the waving like a flag icon.

Don’t know what you are seeing at the bottom of the first page but on my computer it has the wiggling icons and the description indicating they are high popularity threads/posts.
