Liverpool Video on YouTube

Post by strato17 »

I dont know about you guys, but this video really makes me want to build a liverpool.... BAD.

So rich sounding. I would have liked to hear what it sounded like with high gain.

Is it just me or does it seem like the TW's have a just a bit of really sweet compression? The sound that the guy gets in the clip when he switches to the bridge pickup is incredible!

My Rocket is pretty close to that, though that 'pool sounds a bit more woody and organic. If that's what a real 'pool sounds like, I'll probably part with one of my Rockets (once I get the second one built) and try the Liverpool since that's more of the "light overdrive" sound I hear in my head that I can't get with any of my other amps.

Damn Richie...I didn't know you played like *that*! Your random YJM parts make me want to get back to practicing 4-8 hours a day like when I was a kid (and had time for that).

After hearing Richie's clips (previously) I was sure I was going to build a Liverpool instead of the Express. Now after hearing that I guess I'm going to have to build both.
