I've seen a couple of different boards for various builds and thought I would draw one up. This would make for shorter leads to the chassis components and no wires under the board. Just a lot of time on my hands
Thought I would put it out here and get some input.
Thanks
Gary

Thanks Ron I had that drawn in, but I hadn't gone over the line to make it darker. Just had some time and thought with a little different placement I could get the wires off the bottom of the board and shorten up the ones that go off the board to make it a little lead dress.
I saw your rocket PS boards and got so inspired (motivated, etc) that I just had to see what it would look like.
Just a thought, but if it looks like it will work I may try it.
Thanks
Gary

opp's, my bad I didn't look at the name on the post. It was in your rocket doc. thread. Yes for the Rocket, how you say "board, I no need no stinkin board"
I've been doing electronics since the early 60's (oh I stuck two bare wire in a wall outlet at age 5/6, ain't been right since) when I built my first project no book just the schematic, a super regen rcv'r wound my own coils, had the furnace man bend a chassis. Used a selenium rectifier in the PS back then. Pulled in Europe and other on a good night.
I've been into ham radio since about 1965 or so. Built a couple of Kw linear amp you could heat a room with and lots of smaller ham shack stuff.
If you look at the pictures of my Liverpool you'll notice I built my PS board almost exactly like you're suggesting; however, you'll notice that I had to cut out a notch in the top right corner.
It made it A LOT easier to work on the switches in that area.
