Is it necessary to put in those bottom jumpers on this switch for the rocket ??

If you need to use a rotary without a stop-pin, then you want to do something safe with all the unused lugs -- connect them all to the 4 ohms tap or the 16 ohm tap...assuming that's an impedance selector...can't really tell what it is.

Jay that is a good idea to double up on the 4 and 16 ohm options... in this case (the build image is mine) I wanted to make sure that if the switch got bumped into one of the unused positions it didn't go open... your idea protects the tranny and probably doesn't scare you quite as bad as you try to figure out why no sound is coming out.

switch stop

Post by angelodp »

This switch has a stop on the 4 ohm side so really all that is needed is to gang the lower pins so you have 16 ohm on the extra pins after the 16 ohm spot, should the switch be moved accidentally.
