Storing Tubes

Post by dragonbat13 »

How does everyone store their tubes?

I have a small stash of about 100 various preamp and power tubes. I've broken at least three, one because I am a moron and two because my current box which is falling apart is not ideal for storing tubes.

I would like to store my best ones in some form of case, or at least get some boxes with padding or something. Something that is for preamp tubes and power tubes.

My main question is where to get the blank white boxes for tubes, but also I was wondering what other ideas are out there for some of my more expensive power tubes?

Thank you for the help.

Tube boxes are available from AES: https://www.tubesandmore.com/products/t ... cuum-tubes
Then visit your local Target or whatever and get some of these: https://www.target.com/p/sterilite-6-qt ... nk=sametab

Well for your Octal tubes you can recycle somewhat.

Some paper towels and a small bag of shipping peanuts is all you need.
